Optimash Prime and Nine Over Ten 9/10 wishes you a Happy Merdeka Day!
Last night's traffic was pretty sucky with so many people driving towards the city to celebrate our nation's 50th anniversary of independence. I had the opportunity to play traffic analyst from my vantage point at the Old Town Kopitiam facing Jalan Cheras.
When it was time for me to hit the road, things were not as rosy as well. Traffic was slow moving on the MRR2 in both ways (heading towards Ampang, and heading towards Kesas) and there were those confounded Mat Rempit weaving in and out of traffic. At least they were waving the Malaysian flag and wearing it in unique ways (like a biker's bandanna or scarf).. how patriotic.
I know this sounds abit cliched... but I'm gonna type the two paragraphs above in BM. Afterall, it's Merdeka and everyone seems to be doing this.
Sungguh patriotik!
Enough of the typing. I'm trying not to talk ala Pak Cik Din...la...potong stim betul...tak pakai bahasa rojak...kita kan orang Malaysia? Hehe. That should prove my BM credentials beyond any doubt.
Okay, Optimash and Nine Over Ten 9/10 would like to wish Malaysian all over the world, no matter where you are, a Happy 50th Merdeka Day!!
